UltraNada, literally meaning, "beyond nothing" is an amazingly talented and inventive new San Francisco Bay Area based band, bringing sounds that everybody loves throughout the entire universe. The band features Josh Garey on guitar and vocals (Comfy Chair, Power Crazed Dictators, Private Culture) Geoff Piper on bass and vocals (Canvas, Exhaust, Geoff Piper Band) and Darian Gray on drums and vocals (Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir, Dynamic). The trio delivers an incomparable melodic rock show with exuberance, stamina and backbone. The songs play equally well in both acoustic and electric settings. Recent gigs include the Stork Club (Bands Against Bush benefit), the Solano Stroll, the Voodoo Lounge, Kimo's, the Hotel Utah, Larry Blake's and the Magnificent Ass Show at the Exit Theater in S.F. (solo acoustic). Live, UltraNada plays both original music and covers by bands such as the Yardbirds, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Hendrix, the Police, and even a few "AM-Gold" style one-hit wonders.
